The Grange Community and Leisure Centre

This is the new community and leisure centre in Midhurst, overlooking the South Pond. It's very pleasant to sit on the café balcony watching the water fowl and at the moment, clouds of heavenly crocuses.

Naturally as a new development, the new centre has been the subject of much controversy but I hope people use this lovely facility now it's open. It houses a state of the art gym, various sports halls, community hall and rooms, squash courts and dance studio. There is also a health suite with sauna, steam room and spa pool.

Next week the Library is moving here from it's old home in a lovely ancient building in town. It will be much more convenient though not half so fascinating.
You can also register births and deaths in your break from vigorous exercise!

On Sunday there is a free fun day at the new centre when all the facilities will be open, free activities for the whole family including taster sessions and bouncy castle. I hope it's well supported....
