Oil

"They drove out many demons and anointed with oil many people who were ill and healed them." Mark 6:13

Today's picture is of a little bottle of oil at Church that is kept in this red bag. It is at the foot of the lectern at the front of the church. This is what was used a week ago to anoint each person with oil and to pray for healing. It was an amazing time of praying and everyone hearing from God. I thought I would take a picture of it this week. I was going to use the Bible verse from Isaiah about oil of gladness, but realised that I used this on February 4th. So, I had to go back to the drawing board!! This was when I came across this Bible verse, this is the end of a section about Jesus sending out the twelve disciples in pairs and gave them the authority to cast out demons. Pretty exciting, the even more exciting thing is that since Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to us, we also have the same power and authority....
