The future?

I'm not sure.

I spotted this hook up for electric cars in Inverness. There was only one. I've never seen another. Does this mean that if we had an electric powered car MOH and I would have to travel c 140mls to power up? Kind of defeats the purpose.

There must be more of these out there but where? ....and are there a lot of electric cars out there? ....and can electric cars be charged at home via a house socket?
