Swim anybody?

Travelled from Napier to Gisborne – left just after 10 am and arrived in Gisborne just after 3 pm – few stops along the way for photographs, bite to eat etc. Booked into the motel and then had a wander down to the sea (all of 100m from the motel) for a stroll along the beach. The tide was on the way in and was certainly not ideal for swimming (see foto). We then took a drive to Kiati Hill to have a bird's eye view of Gisborne and the surrounds. Tomorrow the drive to Rotorua.
