Brambles

Finally got round to washing this little tablecloth. My mum preferred to do tapestry but lost the use of her left arm in the last year of her life and found she couldn't manage it. Hence the acquisition of a small linen tablecloth embroidery kit, which she worked using one hand only. It was the last piece of work she did, so it would have been completed in 1963.

The design is meant to be something like "Autumn Hedgerow", I think.

(And yes, I will iron it too in due course!)
