Back home

After a fantastic weekend away it was nose back to the grindstone today. In between spells of Work, I was only out briefly at lunchtime to return the hire car and stock up with a few supplies.

I've noticed that there's always a discarded beer can at the same point in this little street (very close to this). It only gradually dawned on me that it isn't the can that hasn't been swept up - the consumer of the beer sometimes uses different brands. The Polish beer Lech is the most popular, but I've seen Tennents, Carlsberg - almost anything with a content that favours alcohol content above flavour. But the empty can is always discarded at the same spot.

(Back blips start here).
