Just reading my book, Mommy xx

Awww love today's pics of Eva reading her book today. She was chattering away at the same time too and also kind of lip syncing as if actually reading the book. :-)

We had a bit of a rush this morning, as we were both up late and had Rhythm Time at 9.40am. As usual, Rhythm Time was brilliant. At one bit, a big piece of stretchy blue fabric was pulled taut by the moms and toddlers (and Eva) sitting around in a circle. Cheryl put a toy dolphin, fish, seal and sea snake in the middle, and we bounced them up and down by wafting the fabric, well, Eva was soooo excited moving her arms up and down and trying to get the toys and climb onto the fabric, it was really funny and everyone was laughing. The children then sat underneath the fabric as we held it down and counted 1, 2, 3 then lifted it up.... Eva was letting out such excited squeals and looking up at the fabric being lifted up, it was so cute.

We played with her toys when we got back for a bit, then it was sleep time. Eva slept for a good 2 and a half hours.

Grandad came round just as she woke, so I did her her lunch and the 3 of sat in the back room while she ate it. Shepherds pie today with added carrots, cabbage and sweetcorn, yum yum. Followed by a yoghurt and some milk. Eva is getting much better at drinking water, but still mainly just throws the cup on the floor if she's in her highchair.

Had a lovely catch up and a few coffees with my dad and Eva played with her toys. She's kneeling up against things a lot more now, and really looks as though she could pull herself up onto her feet any minute, I guess it won't be long now.

I know Eva can say "bye bye" as she waves goodbye to somebody, so I wanted my dad to hear her say it as he was leaving, but as usual, she said it after he'd gone. Hers, as I've said before is more of a cute little "bah bah" as her little hand waves up and down.

Eva can now also say "teddy". I have a few of Eva's teddies by my side of the bed, and when I get dressed in the mornings, after Eva has had her milk, I say "do you want teddy, Eva?" And I get her teddies and her face lights up with a big smile and she sometimes now says "teddairrr" in her soft little voice as I pass them to her. Anyway, I got her to say it for her Daddy when Mike got in from work tonight, so cute. Xxx
