Tickety Boo!
It was so lovely just chilling with Eva this morning and not rushing. Tickety Boo didn't start til 10.45, so we got up late, got ready in our own time, had extra cuddle and giggle time in bed (when I took today's 'selfie') had breakfast, and off we went.
We met Jenny and Eva at Tickety Boo and Eva had a lovely time. She didn't seem as adventurous as she was the week before, and clung to me a little more today, until we got to near the end of the session. The last 15 minutes or so of Tickety Boo are probably Eva's favourite. It's when everything but the gym mats have been cleared away, we all sit round in a circle and sing songs, including the Tickety Boo song, and they get the big, colourful parachute out and all the children sit underneath it. Eva goes crawling off on her own, looks back at me for reassurance every now and again and joins in clapping her hands and absolutely loves the parachute!
I sang songs to Eva in the car on the way home, as Tickety Boo finishes at Eva's sleep time, so I wanted to keep her awake until we got home and I could get her nappy changed and get her all comfy in her cot. She slept for a good 2 hours or so and while she was asleep, my mom came round to see us.
Nanny stayed for about 3 hours. Eva had a lovely play and kept going over to my box with all my work directories and data in, she loves it. She gets all the books out and pretends to read them, aswell as ripping and chewing the odd page, which I do get her to stop when she does that. My mom and I also bought tickets online for Evita and West Side Story while she was here, am very excited :-) xxx
