Scots Pine wooden carving

Popped into Cuerden Valley on the way home from work this afternoon to see how the springtime flowers were progressing.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much spring development in the park as yet but walking around I came across this wooden sculpture depicting a Scots pine cone I think

I tried both the colour and monochrome treatment but preferred the mono version.
