Puppy Love

Ellen, a Philly native, and her dog, Angel. She rescued the dog from a life of 'breeding offsprings for sale while living in a small cage' and they've been fast friends ever since.

We had a nice chat on the sidewalk, interspersed with "give mommy a kiss" injunctions every so often; Angel complied willingly enough. I noticed a little angel pin with a shamrock on her sweater: she wears it always, in memory of all previous "Angels" and her dad who was Irish.
