Mumma Magpie

Such a hard decision for my blip today as I got many blip worthy shots. I finally settled on this mumma magpie who was chaperoning her 2 juvenile chicks out for a nice fed of bugs off the grass. I came upon the trio by surprise, and as they flew out from behind a bush I nearly fell backwards in fright lol! I stalked them for about an hour wondering if mumma was going to get annoyed at me following her chicks but she wasn't phased by my presence thankfully!
