We then 'bashed' some dunes in a Land Cruiser while the Qatari guy who was driving us pumped the tunes. Some of the dunes were almost vertical drops, looking over the ridge you think there's no way we're getting down that... before the car tips over the edge.

We got to the camp, had a BBQ, played football, sat under the stars and slept in a big green tent. The head guy invited Colin and I up to his tent with the other Qatari men, we thought it was to demonstrate the local hospitality, really it was to show off his 50" £3k Plasma TV. Turns out, the desert is full of surprises...
