Glasgow Girls...

Happy International Women's Day!

Nice day today. Took Mum out for a drive in the scenic Clyde Valley then we had a coffee at her favourite garden centre. This was the first time she had been out since hurting her back again two weeks ago, so it was good to see her enjoying a wee change of scenery.

After dropping Mum off back home, headed in to Glasgow to pick up GraceN then headed off to the Gorbals to the Citizens Theatre. Haven't been there in a while but it was looking good and it was a full house tonight for "Glasgow Girls", a musical about Glasgow's own... powerful, energetic and both tragic and hilarious in parts.

The performance ended with an emotional tribute from one of the cast to women around the world on this special day - International Women's Day. The cast got a standing ovation from the packed house...
