Determination

It rained all day today. I headed out with the camera and somehow ended up at the fairgrounds where I watched the Oregon High School Equestrian Team Northwest District riders compete. I learned very quickly that my lens is not fast enough to stop action inside a darkened horse arena - and that I can't pan well enough to capture much of anything. After about 200 blurry shots I found some riders queued up for the next event. Standing still never looked better. This young lady and her horse looked very determined to win. I am now very determined to invest in faster glass and learn how to effectively pan.
