More beauty

I am getting as bad as Van Gogh with his sunflowers. These were given to me a week ago by a neighbour on the Island. They were beautiful last weekend and dramatic this weekend.

The rain came in heavily this afternoon as predicated. We worked outside all morning, cutting salal, clearing cedar branches, making a place for a 500 gallon water tank at the top of slope where we are going to do some planting over the next month. It was drippy but warm and great to be working outdoors. In since about 2PM, reading, doing my French, cooking, and playing Scrabble with P.
