Baby Shower

Today was my friend A's baby shower that I was hosting. It was such a full on day that we never got round to taking any photos at the actual event! Instead this is a photo of the homemade mocktail menu's that I made for the occasion.

A., knows that she is having a girl so the theme of the day was pink pink pink (it's also one of her fav colours so I'm not just gender stereotyping!). So excited for later this month to finally meet the little lady!!!

We played some games which were fun and educational for all of us and got some discussions going between all the age groups present and the passing around of tidbits of useful info that you probably wouldn't find in most parenting books.

I also met A's step-son for the first time & ended up helping with his art project for history class - much fun making cardboard swords!

By the time I got home I was more than ready to sleep and super glad about having a day off to look forward to rather than right back to work.
