First outing of 2014....

Yes yes I know!!! That is actually the sun!! No coats today or jumpers !!!

My brother called at the ungodly hour of 830 this morning to inform me it was going to be a lovely day! *cheers!! thanks for that!!! He also wanted to know if we wanted to have a picnic with him and his lot! So after I had rubbed the sleep from my eyes and drunk my 3rd cup of coffee me and the babies got ready and jumped in the car to our local shop and stocked up on stuff for a picnic. Conker already had plans and this was the first time we have had an outing without him. I was feeling a little sad that, that time was coming, when going out with your parent(s) is not cool! On our journey I was lost in thought, that eventually turtle and onion will be off doing their own thing too :(. Four became three, then it will be just me and onion! Then what??? Shaking that gloomy thought wasn't too hard though as I listened to their excited chatter from the back seat of the car and I smiled as I listened to them singing at the top of their lungs to the radio.

We all had fun playing in the giant sand pit and everyone had a go on the zip wire. Even turtle but I couldn't watch and left my brother gary to supervise!! Lol

Now we're back home and after some glorious sunshine and fresh air, we're all a little tired!

First outing of 2014! DONE! :D

Temperature reached a balmy 72. Not bad for March!! Here hoping that's a sign of things to come :)
