Sunny Saturday silliness ......

It's been a lovely sunny quiet Saturday :) no Drs appts ..... No hospitals...... No emergencies!!!! Bliss!!

He that is a teenager has been lured away from computer games........ By girls!!!!! *god help me!! Lol. After a successful evening at his first 'youth' he went out with £10 and returned with £10 and a girlfriend! He's very happy atm! And they have spent most of today out enjoying the sunshine. Tomorrow they have made plans to go to he cinema! Lego ps3s and matchbox cars are officially redundant!

Turtle and onion have been badgering me for the best part of the morning wanting to spend their savings from Christmas, birthdays and pocket money so we got ready and went to our local toy superstore. After posing in the new Lego truck for a quick pic they proceeded to drag me around for the next 90 minutes choosing their purchases. I'm very impressed with their maths skills, as they added up and subtracted to work out what the could afford and how much they had left to spend! I used the time wisely, mentally making a list of all the current things they are interested in so I can get them things they'll enjoy for future birthdays, Easter, treats etc :)

We cheated for dinner and had a Chinese (naughty I know! And definitely not good for my waste line!). Kids are all smiles today despite sore arms, snotty noses and other such ailments! Lots of cuddles, games and making of new rubber band bracelets (one of the new purchases!). It's been a fun day filled with laughter and sunshine! What more could you ask for :)
