Daffodils

Apparently, the word Lent in the original Teutonic, just meant spring.

And of course, spring and daffodils are inseparable. Of all the spring flowers these are the ones that are totally emblematic.

In this particular case, these are the first to appear in my garden. They are small which means they're either Jetfire or Tete a Tete and I will have bought them in pots in previous years to brighten up the house. After they flower, I keep the bulbs then plant them out in autumn.
