Shoot Thy Neighbor...Yeah Right

Kevin is bar none my favorite neighbor. There's hardly anything I enjoy more than sharing a porch with a couple of tumblers of Tennessee sipping whiskey and listening to some of his stories of true crime and punishment. As you can guess from his accouterments, Kevin is in the law enforcement business. For this shot, he was not allowed to wear his "colors" which specifically named the agency he works for. Suffice it to say he receives a federal paycheck, and he specializes in wayward fugitives. He used to be a pilot flying passengers who were not in a position to complain (can you say Con Air?), but the pay was no better than a "field" guy and he was spending far too much time away from his family. Now he gets to knock heads to his delight, and he comes home every day.

One of his customers was unhappy with the manner that he was being handled by Kevin's colleagues declaring "You can't do that!!!!". Kevin's response: "My friend, you've been watching too much television."

The U.S. is undoubtedly a less dangerous place thanks to many like Kevin who do the heavy lifting. He has a mountain of great stories and he's just a stand up guy. I'm proud to call him my neighbor and my friend.

Edit: Bri had an excellent suggestion that Kevin may actually be more formidable in black and white rather than in color. So if Chaos is able to wiggle out of his foray into flowers, I should be able to do a b/w vs. color experiment. Here's a link to both versions side by side.
