Grebe, Cordova

It was a rainy foul day in Cordova, Alaska. We slept in and had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. We enjoyed the cloud obscured view on Lake Eyak and watched some satellite TV. A drive to Orca Inlet yielded otter, bald eagle, and grey seal sightings. We bought some hot beverages at an espresso stand that turned out to be pretty crappy. This once proud debilitated fishing vessel was behind the espresso stand. Some salmon on the grill (not caught by us) and brownies for dessert finished our day. We're hoping for better weather tomorrow.
