Day 26: Stats

Spotted this in the free Metro newspaper and got a bit annoyed. A story about how drivers say that they have failed to see a cyclist leads to a headline that implies that most cyclists are difficult to see on the road.

Some cyclists can do stupid things but police statistic show consistently year after year that drivers failing to look cause the majority of collisions. It would appear that blaming victims is fair game in the media.
