Uncle John and Aunty Laura came round :-) xx

Mike was up and out early to the gym this morning. When he was gone, I heard Eva stirring, so got up to have my shower and get myself ready, but then went to go and get Eva up and she'd gone back to sleep. I ended up waking her up just before 9am.

We came downstairs, had breakfast and was playing with Eva's toys, and Eva was yawning away and kept resting her head against me. I pulled her onto my lap a few times and she just lay against me. I really did think she would go back to sleep and she hadn't long got up. She hadn't got a temperature, so it was just as if she just very tired.

My brother and Laura came round at about 11ish and Eva did seem to perk up a little. I took today's pic of them reading 'Where's Spot?" With Eva. It was so lovely to see them both. They'd just come back off holiday and I knew they we're coming round, so dressed Eva in one of the outfits they'd bought her for Christmas this morning. By about midday, it was clear Eva needed a sleep. She had a little milk and was fast asleep in no time. John and Laura stayed a little while longer, but I actually ended up waking Eva up at around 3pm.

Eva ate about half of her lunch, ate a whole yoghurt, didn't want much of her bottle, only my milk, and picked at her Sunday dinner. It was then that she started to seem quite unwell. She literally sat on my lap, clung to me, with her head resting against me, hardly moving, from about 5pm til gone 7pm. We checked her temperature several times, but it was only 37.7, despite her feeling really warm. At bedtime when I checked again, it had gone up to over 40, but some Calpol soon brought it back down to 38.2 and was back to normal at 36.9 by the time I settled her into bed, obviously feeling much, much better. I was getting quite worried about her earlier :-( :-( thank goodness she seemed better by bedtime. Will go and check on her again before I go to bed. Xxxx
