The Day the Shoes Came off

My tummy is jumping with sunshine happiness. The camera loved today. We've waited so long for better weather. I'm having a sun reaction on my neck and itching like mad but I don't care - I'm looking at photos of a beautiful day and feeling really lucky to be living in such a beautiful place. I think we forget how much our country has to offer because of obligations and the tiredness and illness that causes.

It's about time. It's not about place.

I planted strawberries and seed potatoes, and sowed lettuce seed today.
I hung washing out on the line.
The sun beat down on the solar panels and made free electricity, and Tess and I took the dog for a walk over the hill without wearing coats or scarves. In fact when we got back Tess changed into a dress.

The day got warmer and warmer and eventually I found myself in a vest top, cropped trousers and bare feet.

Richard was supposed to have the day off but he ended up working. When he got back we went to the beach to walk the dog. Everything was calm and misty and beautiful.

We've just watched the film One Day, and I cried.

I blogged again today. I can't seem to stop: Why the Label?
