Speccy 4 eyes!
Mum and Dad are back safely from India! Heidi pinched Marks specs for this picture with her Didima (grandma) but had to tilt her head back to keep them from escaping down her non existent nose.
I woke up for a 9.45 walk with Talia and Mia and all 3 dogs. The sunshine was glorious, we parked at the pub, walked through the farm, passed the stables waving at Rebecca and back down the canal catching up all the way. Talia is one of my oldest friends, preceded only by fellow blipper GuernesyNix who I knew from being 2 years old. Mia is Talias oldest daughter and another fabulous goddaughter. The dogs zoomed through the fields loving every minute of their sunny freedom.
I drove home to Heidi and Mark having scooter races down the road and back. I scooped them up and we went to mum and dads for brunchy lunch. They're in good spirits and mums dislocated shoulder is slightly better. We left there to collect India who had survived and delighted in Brownie Camp. I feel really grateful to all the brown owls who gave up their weekend to look after and help make fabulous memories for 400 Brownies.
A tired India had a tap exam run through and then lots of Amazon Rainforest project to get through before bedtime. I unpacked her mostly clean clothes while she shouted through 'Sorry Mummy I fell in mud when I wasn't wearing my waterproof trousers'...
