My 40th year

Tequila tequila!

This is how I started and ended my night, I love this cactus drink!

I took my friends son who is hoping to be a vet to work with me this morning and it was a pleasure explaining everything to someone who is so enthusiastic about my job.

Mark and I took Heidi to the zoo this afternoon and she absolutely loved being an only as India is at Brownie camp. Heidi's main reason for wanting to visit the zoo was 2 weeks ago when India went there on a school trip she told Heidi that there was a chimpanzee with the same name. The chimpanzees and orangutans are mesmerising, we could not look away. Whilst it is a great zoo and there is loads for the orangutans to do, it is not the rainforest. It does not have the sounds of a wild place or the infinite space. It was sad. Mark pointed out that there is not a lot of rainforest left though.

Heidi was very excited about her sleepover at Aunty Angela's so we dropped her off, Mark and Marcus went to the pub and I went to the GYM!! I am battling the bulge! We went out for a drink and then met the other brownie camp worriers Nicki and Gillian and husbs for gorgeous Lebanese food and great company. We finished the evening in really good spirits and Mark and I had a last stop on the way home as we were walking. I couldn't resist another tequila, my favourite all time drink. I may regret that in the morning though as I have to meet Talia at 9am for a dog walk.
