The Big Apple

A red apple had to be blipped today!
We are all checked in ready for the 03:30 start we have tomorrow!

Why is New York called the big apple? Seems on google there are lots of possibilities but I like this one:

"The term 'Big Apple' was originally used in the 1920s and '30s by jazz musicians as a way of saying, 'There are many apples on the success tree, but when you pick New York City, you pick the Big Apple.'"

See you all tomorrow....I wonder what tomorrows blip will be :)
