A burst water pipe on the road was the reason why two men were digging this hole to try to fix it. The road awash with water seemed even more wasteful here in the desert.
The park behind the fence is one of a number of green spaces created for recreation. This one has a floodlit walking and jogging track around its perimeter and is a very popular destination for women and men to exercise after work.
