Ruffles

I thought this bracket fungus looked beautiful! I went down to the duck pond today to try to take some photos of, well, ducks. This festering tree trunk was much more interesting in the end. I was only down at the pond for about 10 minutes and I took over 90 shots! Now I know why people need more than one memory card when they go off for a blipday.

It has been a gorgeous day and we had added excitement in school as one of our past pupils, Kelly Gallagher, won a gold medal in the Winter Paralympic Games in Sochi! Apparently it's the first time Team GB has won a gold medal in these games. Go Kelly!
