Nanking
Today, we took a mini day trip out to Nanjing, the former capital of China during World War II. It was just a two and half hour train ride from Shanghai. The weather was gorgeous and being in a new place away from Shanghai was both fun and refreshing. We did a lot for a day: visited the Nanjing Massacre Museum, walked on the City Wall, ate pretty good Mexican food, got lost, and also went to Dr. Sun Yet Sun's mausoleum on Purple Mountain.
There's seriously about 20 photos I could blip today but I really like this random one of the leaves on a trip by the city wall. There's a serene feeling that goes with this picture so I'll just leave it at that.
