Cat Wood

The bare trees in Cat Wood looked amazing in the midday sun today.

Cat Wood is a private wood near Old Glossop but luckily there is a footpath between the town and Swineshaw Reservoir that passes the west side of the wood and this means that its possible to peek into the wood at various places.

The bright sunlight and the colour of the woodland floor made for some interesting contrasts
