Wild Daffodils at Itchingfield

After a rather jittery day, after work I went over to Itchingfield. Nearly a week of no rain has helped to dry the ground out very well and for the first time this year I went for a walk on one of my usual routes.

I have developed a "thing" about daffodils - they have an appearance and look that no other flower has, and they seem to have a personality all of their own as they come in a variety of shapes, sizes and shades of yellow, orange and white. They have to be one of the favourite flowers of all time for many people. These wild beauties were under a hedge at the very far corner of the big field that I have put on here several times. Further on, there is a small wood that also has more wild daffodils in bloom. Spring has arrived in Itchingfield!
