Lowther Castle

After a hearty cooked breakfast we spent the morning climbing a mountain up into the clouds. The weather wasn’t very accommodating and we were a little disappointed we never got to see the view of the reservoir after our climb. Especially after we’d put in the hard work and braved the strong wind.

Afterwards we went to Askham Hall for a pot of tea and a slice of cake then onto Lowther Castle for a look around the grounds and gardens before heading back to the hotel.
