Dusk in Cologne...

A lovely warm day in Cologne as this Blip shows. I had a tough choice on which photo to show. With the river in front, the suspension bridge and then the beautiful Cathedral in the background I hope it provides a brief overview of the city. The bridge is incredible spanning 1200 metres. It has over 1bn padlocks covering it with courting couples locking them to it with little messages. I've never seen anything like it. The Cathedral was built in 1668 and is simply stunning and has a huge impact on the skyline. Off for the some sauerkraut so Bonjeur.
