History all around us

Just near the Savoy, on the Strand, you can see this plaque, close to the decorated old pub, The Coalhole.

I've walked past it frequently, but this morning I spotted it - and here's my blip.

The concert was superb. And so was today's rehearsal - but four hours of Richard Strauss is seriously hard work :-)
