Mrs Blackbird

Spotted by MrC this morning. Sat at the top of our conifer hedge. Waiting for breakfast.
So a shot taken through the kitchen window for today's blip.
I was going to cut the ivy back ,which is too overgrown on the fence, but I saw both blackbirds going in and out, and think they have started nesting.
So the ivy grows on, and will have to have a good trim later in the summer.

Another beautiful day, and they say it will continue until the weekend.
So tomorrow we will make the most of the sunshine and have a day out.
