Sgurr na Lapaich in Glen Affric
Another lovely day which I spent the afternoon in Glen Affric. Only climbed a small hill today having a rest after yesterday's epic! Lots of frogs and newts in the puddles on the track on the way up. I wonder at the wiseness of this strategy. How often do they dry out before the spawn hatches? Perhaps not that often in a Scottish spring. Perhaps man has created an ideal environment which warms up quickly and is a better location than a cold loch. The views were stunning again. Back to normal I think tomorrow but it has been good to take advantage of this spell of fine weather.
