Sunshine

It's a wonderfully sunny day and everything is out and about.

The weathergirl said that it would take until the afternoon for our dense fog to clear. Thankfully, she was very wrong, and the mist started to dissolve as I was swimming in the refreshing waters of the pool. Swirling as if Excalibur was about to appear, the blue skies won the day and it was just magical.

It's been traffic chaos in and around Lichfield. To add to the "planned closures" of one of the big roundabouts, a lorry got stuck under the railway bridge! It felt as though there was a concerted effort by Staffordshire County Council to thwart our good intentions of exercise. Luckily they failed - and the faithful made it to Virgin Active via a variety of odd routes.......

Meanwhile, back in the garden, there are ladybirds a plenty - and the magnolia is peeping further against the blue, blue sky....
