Mansfield's Crown
The plows were at it all night. In the morning there were slots for people and slots for cars. The wind carried drifts into the street and the windchill to 20 below. With hot coffee and a newly purchased snow shovel I embarked for work ready to change the world.
I was blessed with sunlight when I emerged from my windowless world. The peaks wore new crowns of snow.Three kids out enjoying the same view wanted a group photo with the mountains for a backdrop. Good to know I can operate a Canon and a Nikon with mittens.
