Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Our local Council would like to encourage householders and businesses of Dundee to reduce, reuse and recycle their waste. This is a huge issue for our age - we are fast running out of Landfill sites and the cost of burning waste is enormous. I guess we have all become used to blue bins, black bins and green bins. Recycling areas take so many different items now as can be seen in the photo - a new one seems to be low energy bulbs and batteries.

We appear to be way behind Germany at the moment but Councils are under pressure to catch up. I guess it is ok if you have a car - I am not sure what folk without their own transport can do to help in these extra ways.
