A lamb and its mam

This is the first local lamb I have seen this year.

This wonderful mother was calling to her twins all the time and seemed very excited to be out in the sun in a field of their own.

A very young sheepdog was watching them through wire fencing, too young to work it was obviously just starting its education. This is a sheep, this is a lamb ....

The sun disappeared very quickly and it was soon cold and overcast almost dark by mid afternoon. I have run out of energy this week not sure why but all turned into a bit of a struggle this afternoon.

I watched a bit of the racing but had to take Dad to a hearing clinic so missed some of the races. I placed a few bets but very few winners over the 4 days. In the old days I would have known all about the horses running but have taken little interest in 2014 so tried some random selections that didn't work. I don't think I bother again.
