Hunda Oli
I love specialty coffees, and lucky for me the nearby Whole Foods market carries beans from several excellent local roasters.
This morning I brewed my first cup with the beans I bought yesterday. These were roasted by San Francisco's Four Barrel. According to their notes, the Ethiopian Hunda Oli cooperative coffee has the following characteristics:
FLAVOR: RED PLUM FRAGRANCE | VELVET MOUTHFEEL | WATERMELON ACIDITY | CLEAN FRUIT SWEETNESS | LEMON | RHUBARB | BERGAMONT FINISH
I can't claim to have a palate sophisticated enough to detect all that, but I do know it's a delicious, flavorful cup. So good that I had to have a second one.
