Riding the Sub

I am finding it so hard to choose a photo! I hope you like this one.

Chris has got us both around the city on the sub without problem. We started with breakfast at a Columbian place...really different but very lovely. We then headed over to Union Square someone left her camera charger at home and had to buy a new charger, but the shop were great and I called ahead and they charged me a battery to get me through the day and wondered around the market, had a fantastic hot chocolate (me) / coffee for Chris then headed back to Times Square I nearly got run over to see if we could get tickets for a show on Sunday and pleased to say we got tickets to see Aladdin.

We were doing a little window shopping and I got distracted by camera accessories and before we know it we are pulled into the shop, the owner (a pro photographer) has cleaned my lens and told us that no way would I be able to take my camera to the Knicks game tomorrow (I had read this yesterday) as it is classed as a professional camera. Obviously I want to take photos of the game tomorrow so I ended up buying a little Nikon point and shot...not ideal but i have concluded its just part of my kit now!!

We headed to Macy's and headed out again...how dull! Its just another shopping centre.

We walked to Grand Central and had two glasses of champagne in the Oyster Bar. Just wonderful feeling the vibe!

Then we walked to the UN, sadly we cant get tickets and I was disappointed to see that all the flags had been taken down.

We are now back at the apartment and will shortly be getting ready for dinner and maybe a 'eve before birthday' drink or two!
