Looking at me looking at you!
A friend rang me this morning and, of course, we talked about blips. She said why not look under that pile of leaves in your garden, I bet you'll find lots of wee beasties to blip. Well, in fact, I didn't, but started pulling up some weeds - they're starting to grow again:-( Suddenly I felt a sting in my hand - I thought there must be a nettle amongst this lot. But a wasp fell out of my hand - it had been his sting! I think he must have been a bit stunned by his action, because when I ran into the house to get a jar to put him in he was still there. I then had a dilemma - should I blip the sting he left on my hand which now had a big red lump on it, or should I blip him! I decided on him. I took lots but the best were the ones where he was staring at me and pleading to be let out. When I let him out he staid on my doorstep for quite a while to recover and then flew away into the sunshine. Yes, we have got some today, although there is quite a gale blowing! I played with the image a bit - hope you like the result:-) My first wasp sighting of 2014.
