Its Chrisssstttmaaaaaas!

Well not quite but I could not believe that there are adverts up for Christmas party nights already and we're not even past Easter!!

Headed out for a couple of hours around the Botanics today as both boys were out and about - one at a party and the other away into town with his friends.

It was a wee bit on the windy side to manage any good shots - however if I did have my tripod and ND filters with me I could have tried some arty shots with the leaves blowing about in the wind (another blip for another day).

So at lunch time, Clare and I headed to one of the cafes on site to grab a bite to eat and it was then that the "offending article" was spotted...too soon I hear you cry and yes you would be right.

Summer holidays time is probably when a lot of places start to advertise their Christmas partys...but not MARCH!!

Anyway for those interested there are only 284 days to go until the big day!!
