can I eat grass?

The Husband has to work the new few Saturdays while he is training new staff so it was just me with the puppies today :( We started at Exceat and walked the long route along the South Downs Way to the beach and back alongside the River Cuckmere meanders. Starting out early to avoid noisy families it was a little hazy for photographs. This is Grace having a taste of the grass after seeing sheep grazing. Fortunately the pups were more interested in gobbling up sheep poop than chasing sheep so walking through the field wasn't too stressful.

The longer walk has given me a more peaceful afternoon than yesterday's boisterous one. Another warm day, I sat in the garden to eat lunch apologies to those still snowbound, then helped Alice dye her hair from faded red to a purply plum colour. Dinner slow cooking giving me a chance to sit and recover from keeping the puppies busy today :)
