Now You See It

Now you see it...now you don't!

I heard this small little amphibian croak long before I saw it; ran like a lunatic to get the camera then lurked round the edge of our small pond. When is there a croak when you need one? Very well disguised by the copious amounts of duckweed sculling on the surface, it had popped up in a very inconvenient spot and nothing for it but to get wet knees and elbows. With the need to blip having improved my stalking skills, I slithered up to the edge and managed to get 5 shots before it hopped down underwater. That was that but I was so pleased to see it there!
