Beech Trees

Day off today and I have added a few days that are due to me to create a long weekend :-)
We are travelling down to Edinburgh by train tomorrow and staying a couple of nights.
The only sad thing about this weekend break is that Maeve will have to go into kennels for a few nights :-(
We are hoping to see the Fergusson Exhibition, having already seen the Caddell and Peploe exhibitions in this series on the Scottish Colourists.
On the way home from Dundee we stopped at the start of this country road as I was attracted by the beech trees silvery bark against the dark skies.
The box you can see is part of a wall of boxes used by the farmers when they are gathering the potato harvest.
