Arrived this afternoon in Edinburgh and once we had checked into our hotel we set off exploring the city.
Having seen a number of blips of the Bruce Munro installation at St Andrews Square we were curious to get a look at this installation.
I have blipped the Ronald Rae sculpture with some of the lights that form this installation in front of it.
Sadly we didn't get to see it lit up but if you click on the link you will see it in all it's glory.
As it was such a lovely bright day we headed off to the Botanical Gardens and had a lovely walk round.
There was a lovely exhibition on in the main building by a group of artists from Garvald Edinburgh..
We walked back to the city via Stockbridge where we stopped at the Sunday market and I treated myself to some lovely handmade soap.
Back in town we had dinner at Henderson's Bistro and then went on to the cinema to see the Book Thief.
Thankfully after the pictures we didn't have long to walk to our hotel only across the road :-)
