GARDEN TOUR: DAY 16

Directly opposite, across the lawn I have another corner garden, this came about partly by default. It came about after a visit to MAPLE GLEN, which is a half hours drive from Gore in Southland. It is world famous & if you have any doubts- google it. It is my favourite garden in the South Island of NZ. Mrs Davison (apart from having this famous garden) has a wonderful nursery. I came home with a boot load of plants & had no idea where to put them.
Put Roundup on this corner of the lawn & made a new garden !! It's got a very tatty Autumn look today.

I've blipped here before - the purple leaf Ligularia, & right at the back, my 'picking garden' of Sweet Peas & Dahlias.

Anyone planning a NZ GARDEN TOUR, "MAPLE GLEN" IN SOUTHLAND, is a must !
